Winds of Change

When I started this project I knew what my first two pages were going to be. As I was beading my last page I was outside one day and the winds came up and I was thinking how they were blowing in new energy. That is when it hit me what this month's theme was going to be. Now that I have finished the labyrinth and have gone to my core I feel changed. I am more positive about who and what I am. I have more energy. And I am ready for what is coming next. I am ready for change.

Last month I worked with size 15 beads, so when I started this month's page, with size 11 beads, it felt like I was flying through it. Now that I have settled down, I am not flying as much but this is only after 2 days of work. I love it. I love the softness of the colors. It is like the energy is gently pushing me towards change, not shoving me.

I love the idea, and it looks good so far so good ! :)

I must admit my 2 first pages were also in a dark tone and I feel lighter now.

Hi Helene,
I just looked at your two pages, they are dark. And how funny we both have a key in the July piece.
Only the distance on the map is far. Our spirit's seem to be in the same place.

This is lovely. Apart from the eye, which you have obviously not started, this looks finished to me. I will be very interested to see where you take it from here.

I like the calm blue colors as well. It strikes me that this also might be you exhaling some of the old stuff!

Vicki
So funny you said that!
I spent all day yesterday sighing, letting big breaths out. I did not put it together but I am sure you are right! Thanks for your insight.

I really like the concept. Your lines flow so smoothly you can almost feel the wind.

This is off to a wonderful start, the whole piece has a calm 'feel' to it. I love how the Muse so often takes over when we are beading, just as yours appears to have done here

Having a hard time holding onto my chair. I feel like I'm being blown away! :) You have really captured the feeling of wind. Now let it blow all the old stuff away. I love your work.

I like the way you used the beads with the stripe in it to make an outline. I am learning a lot of technique looking at your progress on these pages. Thank you for sharing your person insights as well.
