August's Page is Done
The Winds of Change is now done.
Talk about a journey....
When I started the page in early August my life was pretty well set. Things were comfortable. By mid August everything went haywire. You can tell on the bottom left hand corner of the page, my stitching is bumpy. It took a week of feeling like I had food poisoning for me to get over it.
I ran out of beads the last week of August, it gave me time to sit back and take stock of my life. I ordered some over the internet thinking I was getting a large tube of the beads. When they came it was only a half tube. That meant I had to "change" how I finished the piece.
Change is not bad, it is just change. It can feel scary, the unknown and all. But like this page it can be even better than you can imagine.
Now on to the next adventure!

i really like this piece, speaking as one whose life is right in the stream of those winds!
WOW! What a fabulous piece! I can see that just doing it would be very theraputic. I hope you are well on your way to finding a new place to live and bead!
Beautiful. Lovely movement and shading. Good luck with the move.

I love it! I was signed in as my husband... so take that craig staude comment as being from me!
love it!
It's gorgeous, I love it! -Karen
Wow, that is good!!! I think it has grace. You couldn't tell where you wanted more of the same bead or where you had to make things up!
Did you know that your link
subconscious distortion comes up as spam?
Cheers, Denise
This is a great page! I wish I could see it in person because it begs to be touched. No one would have ever guessed you didn't intentionally use the beads that are in this piece.

Wonderful piece!
I hope there is much peace in your new home - wherever that takes you.
Beautiful piece, very peaceful!
It's just stunning! I've liked the concept from the beginning, but wow how you finished it.

I love your piece! It really has movement.
Don't they call the wind Mariah? Beautiful piece.
this is awesome work. Love everything about it.
Oh my Goddess, this is just beautiful. I have a tissue collage that I did of the North Wind and the Sun, and this looks exactly like it - only in beads, which makes it a million times better. I am in love. This page and stuff about the Renaissance Fairs gets your page added to my google reader :)
This is so beautiful,
Thank you for sharing.

Absolutly stunning, so childlike and mature at the same time. Beautiful art!!!
Julie says-I love it. In response to turning 50 I am 52 now have been working really hard to get rid of baggage-or making peace with it. I am beginning to work on surrendering to issues that are painful, but behaviors Ive used as survival made me strong . Now I think I can try life without them. Take your time. Julie
I have been too busy to see all the blogs I like to keep up with so I am a bit late on the WOW!, another great page but now I have said it. Hope you find a nice place for yourself to live. Guess the winds of change are winds and not just a breeze, eh?
