In the process...

I really like working with 15s, the detail you can get with them is amazing. The skin on the human side is all done with 15s.

It has been interesting though how I am kind of scared to do the bright colors of the butterfly side. Is it because I am scared of my light side (see post below)?

Your last three posts are so thought-provoking... wonderful for me, as I turn 65 tomorrow and have some of the same issues. Transformation! What a lovely way to show it! And your details are fabulous... like the knee joint and hip of the transforming woman... beautiful how you did that with the twist. I love 15s too. I'll never have enough of them! I just now scrolled down to see your completed August piece... Winds of change blowing toward transformation. How delightful!!! Hugs and happy birthday! Robin

I love 15s as well. As to being scared, I turned 50 in August and believe me it no different from being 49.

I understand the notion of dumping all the baggage but without the baggage we would not be able to spread the wisdom of our lives. Rather than dumping the baggage, except it,use it and make more baggage but this time it might be a lighter and more colorful bag than the last.

I love your work, it has such energy and at the same time, serenity.

Somehow, I was surprised to read that you just turned 50, if asked I would have placed you younger, going on your beading.

I hope you go into the light, I am very excited to see what you can do if you free yourself. (I am hoping to free myself one day, and bath in the light)

Absolutely love it. I, too, love 15's. Such detail is available to you. Go for the colors. I'll be 65 in April, but I refuse to grow up.

I love her. I love 15's toooo. I can't wait to see her unfolding color. Kind of how I feel as I get older. I'm almost 50 and the older I get the more color I accumulate everywhere in my life.

Dive into color!

I find it facinating how many of us are having birthdays that are a multiple of 5 this year. Also the number of us going through a period of transformation.

Your piece is coming along wonderfully and the color will come when you are ready. Trust your inner guide and find strength in the knowledge that she knows what is best for you. Your light is already shining so that we can feel it.

I love 15s as well. Love and strength on your transformation, Angie

Just put a few beads of each color in a pile, shut your eyes and pick one. Now start somewhere with that color. It's just on step more than you've already done which is a fantastic page idea. You have done a great job of melding the two halves into a harmonious piece.
