Creative Friends

I am surrounded by creative people!
It is such a treat to spend time with them and create myself. Nothing fuels my imagination better.

So I am starting a new post idea, each month I'll take you on a tour of a new creative person's home.
This month I will start with Jennifer.
I have known Jennifer for quite some time. I met her when I took a paper making class through the local community ed, she was the instructor. I was quite "shy" back then. I took the class again, because I just did not get it the first time. Maybe it was that step there that cemented our friendship.

I don't know, but my life has been enriched just knowing her.
Her creativity knows no boundaries. She would be the first to tell you its because she is a Pisces, boundaries are foreign to them. I am on the other side of the spectrum, I am a Virgo, we are all about the boundaries.

Her prodding and support of my artistic nature is endless.

Jennifer's newest endeavor is her kitchen. The walls are painted, the wood floor is installed. All that was left was those nasty white counters....

Not any more.
For the last several months she has been creating this beautiful mosaic on her counter.
She only has this portion finished but what a difference it makes.
How fun will it be to prepare food on this counter. The only problem will be that every time you put a plate/bowl down you will loose some of the design! What a problem to have, huh!

Here's to you Jennifer! Thanks for everything!

That's a amazing tile work. I want to have a kitchen just like that. It makes me feel fun to cook there and I'm impressed by the details that you’ve on this post.
