Finished rejuvenating!

I have finally finished Rejuvenation.
This is my January page.
I love the little tendrils coming down from the leaves.
They remind me of a New Year's Eve celebration.
It gives it a sense of whimsy.

I would like to hear what you feel is whimsical.

Oh yes! Absolutely yes! From the very first picture you posted of this page, I knew it was going to be special. It is stunning and speaks to me more than I can tell you.

Oh, wow! This is absolutely wonderful. If my poor flu sick brain could muster up any personal thoughts of whimsical, I would do it. But this page is truly outstanding!

It could be an illustration in a children's book... not exactly whimsical to my eyes, maybe more like fanciful. Besides that it's lush, inviting and totally stuning. Great work! Robin

PS...I almost forgot to mention... it's so squarely to the point, so obviously about rejuvenation. Love it! R

What an excellent piece! I like the contrasting finish looped lines in the background, and how you used those lines as a curve to follow. Thanks for sharing it....

Gorgeous work, as always. I'm with Arline - this one speaks to me as well. It fairly vibrates off the page. And while I can't define what's whimsical, I know it when I see it. ;)

I loved the tendrils, too. It's time for everything to get green again. Beautiful piece!

Whimsical to me, is something shown happily a little off center or out of kilter. Unhappily off center is maudlin. Think of teapots singing, birds whispering in your ear, a grandma on the swing instead of a child; those are whimsical to me.

Leaves blooming over a rotting tree trunk providing shade to the little tree sprouting up in the shelter of the trunk. I see more than whimsy here. I see protective loving going on!

Hmmm I wonder if your piece of whimsy is a Woman's torso hidden in the green background ??? I have looked at your page several times but this evening the form just jumped out at me.. tell me I am not seeing things ~ grin
