A Stop for Moms

I have been in the process of telling you my story, I am going to take a detour and bring you to the present.
A friend of mine told me about this site, Mom Culture.

Mom Culture is about the culture of being a parent. It gives you back the music, film, writing, art, design and dance that you thought you no longer had time for as a parent. Pretty Cool!

Tomorrow morning there will be a piece on MPR about them.

If you click on their gallery link, you might see yours truly there.

Both moms and kids will like this piece. It is entitled "The House That Seuss Built", an ode to Dr Seuss. Thousands of beads, and hundreds of hours went into creating this sculpture. The house is 12 " tall and 12" wide, with working doors. The inside walls are covers from two of his most famous books, "The Cat in the Hat" and "One Fish Two Fish".
The House that Seuss Built also won 2nd place in the Beadwork competition - The Beaded Book.
